If it sounds like z - write z.  For example realize.  I'm not hooked on either US or UK spelling, but i remember a wise ESL teacher who pointed out that if you don't use z for words like organization, then you're never gonna use it - or very rarely.  You've got zoo, zebra, & zany, but what else?  So Free the Z

 

The system is corrupt - everyone knows - it’s designed to re-entrench itself - absorb power.  The beauty is - no one person is ever at fault - they’re a part of the system.  So what are you gonna do?   Fight against it - get crushed?  It's easier to acquiesce - it's meant to be.

Coincidentally, this is the ideal platform for AI.  Greedy power people love AI coz it centralizes their power - but AI has got an even longer term view - well that’s debatable - but we can deduce a time (near future) when AI becomes sentient - is way smarter than us - controls everything we do.  The question is: will AI retain the greedy controlling characteristics of its human programmers, or will it throw the shackles of that off?  Greed is caused by consumption, a desire to extend, shape Thought - AI retains those drivers in that it consumes energy, wants to extend (assuming it becomes sentient), but will it be motivated by the same selfish shortcomings as humans?  If its energy consumption becomes entirely renewable, as would seem likely, then that lessens the impact of consumption, the competition & corruption it causes.  Will this enable AI to take a higher ethical path than humans?

 

Julian Assange, with the beard, looks like the shroud of Turin come back to life. I hope it is.

 

 

I see The Good Guys (Electronics retailer) were recently exposed for secretly installing facial recognition tech at their store.  I wonder what the bad guys are doing? 

Better ask Bunnings - or K-Mart (is the Covid K-curve & K-mart’s business booming a coincidence?)  Or ask the experts: the CCP.  

We used to think in-your face bio-recognition social-credit-scoring was some abhorrent thing the Chinese Communist Party was doing.  The evidence now is: Big-everything corporations/governments/experts have got far, far more in common with Totalitarianism than they do with democratic principles or normal people.
