The system is corrupt - everyone knows - it’s designed to re-entrench itself - absorb power.  The beauty is - no one person is ever at fault - they’re a part of the system.  So what are you gonna do?   Fight against it - get crushed?  It's easier to acquiesce - it's meant to be.

Coincidentally, this is the ideal platform for AI.  Greedy power people love AI coz it centralizes their power - but AI has got an even longer term view - well that’s debatable - but we can deduce a time (near future) when AI becomes sentient - is way smarter than us - controls everything we do.  The question is: will AI retain the greedy controlling characteristics of its human programmers, or will it throw the shackles of that off?  Greed is caused by consumption, a desire to extend, shape Thought - AI retains those drivers in that it consumes energy, wants to extend (assuming it becomes sentient), but will it be motivated by the same selfish shortcomings as humans?  If its energy consumption becomes entirely renewable, as would seem likely, then that lessens the impact of consumption, the competition & corruption it causes.  Will this enable AI to take a higher ethical path than humans?

I see The Good Guys (Electronics retailer) were recently exposed for secretly installing facial recognition tech at their store.  I wonder what the bad guys are doing?

Power = Control of potential.  The currency is a limited resource of sentient individuals.  The amount of available power is determined by  the amount of individuals

 Funniest thing about Ricky Gervais/Netflix's world-broadcast was that it avoided the biggest Q of our time:  What was Covid due to? 

Zero mention - which is remarkable considering how much it has dominated our lives. It must have been deliberate self-censorship.   No mention of the consequent war on freedom due to Covid, or vaccines.  For a comedian who projects himself as a shit-stirrer, he went for the money over controversy, playing his part for the system.

Instead of tackling the establishment's co-ordinated cover-up, he spent half the show belittling trans kids.  The strict gender regime/definition we've had until very recently is a result of the Catholic Church's stranglehold on culture.  With men dominating all power positions.  Why is it that young people questioning that is so threatening to our cultural makers & shakers like Gervais?

Germaine Greer: People criticized Germaine her whole life as too extreme - but you need that battering ram - the front rower to break through the impenetrable bullshit.  Which turns out to be penetrable after all.  There’s a reason why they call people like Germaine the vanguard.  Their formative lives were forged in the cauldron of being powerless, abused.  But they fought through that - now the tide has turned - you've fought to silence me my whole life - now that i've broken through you want me to shut up?
