The Origin of Fort Detrick

(under construction)  By 1969 the stories leaking out about the US's secret bio-weapons program were growing evermore alarming.  Nixon ordered a review, but he already knew what he'd find:  stockpiles of disease-bombs, wild STAGE 3 TRIAL experiments on humans to test vaccines, the quiet accumulation of humanity-shaping power.

To quote Dick, Fort Detrick had reached (an) offensive program (that) demonstrated nuclear equivalence of biological weapons.

If you're packing that - you're packing serious-arsed clout in the MOU round-table discussions, that decide: what's secretly best for all of us.

We'll get back to that later, but how did it get to that crazy mother-fucking-level of secret scio-kingdoms?

Naturally, it started organically, in the early forties - WW2 - when the world went berserk. In that uncertainty, there were great entrepreneurs who saw opportunity ...  in this case ... George W..... Merck.   Yes, Merck, the murky-pharmaceutical-giant Merck.   George W's trick, which turned the company into what it is today, was:  employ a clique of  civilian scientist brainiacs on retainers from academia.

Sounds simple but he was the first to do it.  He created an overlapping subset space between Big Universities & Private Enterprise.  Nice.  Now a mega-zillion-$ industry -shaping our lives as we speak

Mercks original crew were top-notch experts, selected for their skills as much as their willingness to operate below the surface.  All hush-hush.

Ahead of the curve thinkers, bio-warfare enthusiasts. Your mission, if you choose to accept:  Develop bio-weapons superiority.   George W named them:  War Reserve Service .

Even Roosevelt had no idea they existed initially.   But when he did, he was all in.  Quickly formalized a military partnership with Merck.   History was made:  it's how, (then-named) Camp Detrick came into existence as a govt funded secret society.   it's how it grew into a Fort.   The premier germ-war facility in the known universe.

That gives you an insight into: the Empire Culture that rules our lives today, now called USAMRIID.  Stronger than ever: a higher-truth cross-over society of govt-private -  playing God - on humanity's behalf.

Yeah, so what?  Someone's gotta do it.  It's not my fault I'm a big-picture person.  That's my responsibility.  It's not easy, you know, but that's my day job.  Always will be.  Whereas, What's yours?  I reckon you're a ... Second thoughts: who cares?

Using this built-in logic, captured Japanese scientists from 731 - war criminals - of the highest order - were rigourously interrogated - then offered pardons for passing on, secretly, to Fort Detrick, their findings.  Terms to which, naturally, they all gleefully signed-up for.

That's the thing about being a scientist:  even when you do do evil shit - if  you somehow get caught - which you won't - but if you do - rest assured - you always get a free-ride out. ...

Not long after, the US was roundly accused of launching cholera & plague assaults in the Korean War - using a technology acquired from the 731'ers.  They admitted capability, but denied deployment - saying the outbreaks were due to natural causes.

Then again, if it is a secret-security-op - you're not gonna be owning-up to it by definition , right?  It's classified.  See ya on the other-side...

The Report reported a litany of nutty escapades, including but not limited to: airplane aerosol attacks on major US cities with a so-called simulant substance.  But it's the scale that's frightening: a unchecked, alternative universe of bio-weapons thinking.   Locked-into a private arms race to world domination. That's a vested-interest industry if ive ever seen one.

Nixon visited Fort Detrick shortly after to announce an end to the offensive capability program

Did it put some noses out of joint? The War Reserve was already a closed-society power-base before the govt came along - that network doesn't dissolve overnight.  They all kept their jobs at Fort Detrick mind you.  Due to Loop-hole: 101:

We're not creating bioweapons for offensive deployment - just we need to keep making them - pushing the envelope - so we know how best to defend against the terrorists n such.
