Inside Wang's WIV World

(Very under construction)construction - so removed it)

But

We've already seen Linfa'it's (CSIRO's) connection to WIV through dozens of papers with Shi-WIV/(+Daszak-EcoHealth) - but does it go further, deeper?  Is that even possible?  Normally it would take weeks of painstaking research to untangle a subject's network of influence but once again we can simply refer to Linfa's CV for the definitive answer.

HONORARY POSITIONS AND INVITED MEMBERSHIPS :

(2005-): Honorary Professor, Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Oh.  So apart from the collabs, Linfa is an honorary WIV professor.  Not even Daszak, Lipkin, or Honorary Eddie Holmes had that honour. Rarefied air alert.

Keep scrolling though, to Invited Positions, you find this one:

(2007-present): Chair, Scientific Advisory Board, Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases, Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Whoa! Chair of the Advisory Board for WIV!  From 2007 to the time of the outbreak. Still doing it.

We can safely assume that it was in his capacity as Chair that he visited WIV in early January 2020. Lot of important stuff to advise about in those pivotal days.

The Feb 1 Teleconference was historic, but January WIV Advisory Conference preceded that - it shaped it.

So what advice did Linfa share?

To recap our last meeting in

Firstly: Don't panic.  We've been here before - there's a roadmap - it will get us out - if we follow it unflinchingly.

Secondly:  Speaking from personal experience dealing with Hendra, then SARS, etc, the outbreak willgonna be great for business.  That's how it works in the real world - if you want a market for novel drugs - you need a novel disease.  We're uniquely positioned to benefit - if we play our cards right.  Zhengli, make sure we get that Remdesivir patent, full-steam ahead with the vaccine research. (Zhengli jots it down)great!

Zheng-li: That's true Wang Professor - but the outbreak is here in Wuhan.  Already there's chatter on Weibo.  Sure, we can put a stop to that but what happens when it hits the west? You can't just censor information there ...

Yes, and No.  There are things we can do.  There's Ian Lipkin, as we know, Eddie, Peter of course, then there are people they know - the higher-ups,  Fauci, Farrar, Drosten, Tedros. The fact is, this is a chance to demonstrate to the world that our system of government is the best model for  global adoption.

Think of this as the Olympic Games of governments.

Q: So what steps do we take to stop the spread of the disease?

Linfa: What disease? (nervous laughter)

We don't want to stop it- not yet.

What? Are you crazy?

Do i look crazy? In order to win the Olympics, we need a competition. We let it seep into the world first.  Only when it gets going in the west do we institute our crackdown.  Then we'll see who wins in the end.

Does Ian know about this?

Yes, he's in agreement. There are many others like him who know that centralized government is the only way forward. Powerful people on the same page as us.

That's nice, but what are they going to do to help in a practical sense?

Linfa: Good question. I'm thinking a statement pledging solidarity with WIV - condemning the conspiracy theorists.  Then we ask Eddie to write a paper

Out of all the Covid characters, only Gao encapsulates the Sino-West spillover politics as well as Lin-fa Wang:

A Gof coronavirus hunter who straddles both worlds in this powerful bio-science globalism dream of the new-era

Linfa’s Journey so far:

China - US - Australia - Singapore (the ultimate go-between country)

The thing is, though, Linfa never left China. Apart from chairing an Advisory Board at WIV (Heelllooo!), there are these accomplishments:

(1989-): Adjunct Professor, East China Normal University

(2006-): Editorial Board, Chinese Journal of Virology

(2010-): Member of International Scientific Advisory Board, Harbin Veterinary Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Same time pulling top-dollar at CSIRO until 2015, then Duke.

That’s a foot in both camps if ever i saw it.

Pretty hectic schedule already, right?, but there’s much more on his plate.

Especially: Editorial Boarding

That’s where the message is shaped. In a Data War,  it’s your most important weapon. Linfa sits on 7 Editorial Boards across the virology industry worldwide - all currently active. I don’t know what the world-record is but that would be up there.

They include:

(2010-): Frontiers in Virology (I think we’ve arrived)

(2011-): Journal of Bioterrorism and Biodefense (western)

Then there’s the obligatory WHO roles that so many of our Covid Conspirators play:

(2003): WHO SARS Scientific Research Advisory Committee

(2003): WHO SARS Animal Reservoir Working Group

(2003): WHO SARS Laboratory Diagnosis Working Group

Remembering, even the experts insist CCP was much less transparent back then than they are now - which means: SARS-1’s origin is murkier than SARS-2.

Linfa Wang was right there - rode the free-money funding to fortune & fame with Lipkin, Dwyer, Shi, Daszak, Baric, Farrar - et al that - The SARS All-STARS Class of 2003. Yet for all that money, none of them ever got to the bottom of what caused SARS.

(2013-): WHO International Health Regulations Roster of Experts

The thing about Linfa Wang - apart from the colossal amount of pies he has had his finger in - his finger is still in them.

So it’s no surprise he figures prominently in Daszak’s scheming emails to engineer the Lancet Statement
