# Celebrity Scientists: W. Ian Lipkin Once upon a time, a clique of Gain-of-Function bio-evangelists rode the 911 money-wave to wealth and fame. Along the way they developed close ties with Chinese scientists and government officials who wanted to develop GoF technology. Everyone said it was a *win-win situation*. The CCP got their GoF-know-how, while the scientists were rewarded with money, flattery, media attention, & medals. When Covid happened, they walked the red carpet onto the platforms of [mainstream media](https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jun/09/conspiracies-covid-19-lab-false-pandemic) (from [Fox](https://www.foxnews.com/us/dr-ian-lipkin-consultant-contagion-coronavirus) to [CNN](https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2020/02/17/dr-ian-lipkin-virus-hunter-china-coronavirus-full-episode-acfc-vpx.cnn)) and the world's top [science journals](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-020-0820-9). They presented themselves as our scientific heroes riding to our rescue in a time of crisis. Fittingly, they all had colorful super-hero-nicknames, such as *Bat Lady*, *Batman*, & *The Virus Hunter*. They united as *one-force* to promote the CCP's version of events - they became their international mouthpieces. The CCP, in turn, implored the world to *Listen to the Global Science Experts.* It was a perfect arrangement. One of the most visible of these Celebrity Scientists in the crucial early days of Covid, when the narrative was first being shaped, was The Virus Hunter, **W. Ian Lipkin**. (Note: After i published details of Lipkin's involvement with CCP officials on his [Wikipedia page](https://dulandrift.formosahut.com/books/w-ian-lipkin-wikipedias-war-on-truth/chapter/the-wiki-post) in June 2020, he suddenly went to ground. I assume he read it. For my troubles, i had those details erased by a network of United Front Work Dept operatives who appear to have totally infiltrated Wikipedia management. I tried to fight it according to Wikipedia's rules, but received a barrage of *conspiracy theorist* vilification & was soon banned from Wikipedia. We know the CCP's UFWD works globally to infiltrate all influential organizations - Wikipedia is an obvious target. In the information war surrounding the origin of Covid, we can put Wikipedia in the *Lost* column (along with MSM, Science Academia, WHO, etc). Luckily, groups such as DRASTIC, & to a smaller extent Formosa Hut, were still able to publish verifiable, referenced info about the origin. In a case of *turning-the-tables*, we borrowed a classic CCP tactic from the Chinese Revolution - *surround the city with the country*. Today, despite the combined might of all establishment info-platforms telling us that Covid was natural-origin, virtually nobody believes them.)

This role burnished his Celebrity Scientist status - invariably referred to in every media-gig intro. Lipkin proudly reveals that one of the characters, who *saves the world* by *breaking-the-rules*, is based on him. - Conducted media blitz praising the [CCP’s *system of government*](http://www.microbe.tv/twiv/twiv-special-lipkin/) (16:17) after returning from a fact-finding-mission to China in Feb 2020. Down-played the severity of Covid initially saying its impact would be *much less .. than seasonal flu*. - During his Feb China trip, Lipkin says *I offered my services to President Xi Jin-ping, who I found very impressive*. - Advocated strongly against masks, echoing WHO's & CDC's advice that *they're not useful.* He described calls to adopt mask-wearing as [*crazy.*](https://dulandrift.formosahut.com/books/w-ian-lipkin-wikipedias-war-on-truth/page/advice-on-face-masks) Failed to wear a mask whilst conducting media-blitz in US (though he wore them in China & praised their usage there). This resulted in him catching/spreading Covid in mid-March, when the disease first took off in the US. Has played up threat of zoonotic crossover all his career - says this is not *the big one* - so give us more money/surveillance power.
**Take-aways:** Massive CCP COIs - which make all his pronouncements on the origin of Covid suspicious. Weird disinformation disseminating behaviour upon returning from his *fact-finding-mission* to China whereupon he downplayed the severity of Covid & campaigned *against* mask usage - even though he knew better than anyone that they *were* useful - having seen studies to that effect, & praised their usage in China. You can bet your life he wasn't running around China giving TV interviews telling people not to wear masks there. It's hard to think of a plausible reason why Lipkin would do this other than he *wanted* the disease to spread in the US. Why would he do that? For the same vested interests that motivated him to run-interference for the CCP re the origin: *money/power*. A pandemic would ensure a huge boost in pipeline funding as well as help pull-off a global power-grab for the Zoonati. That amounts to mass-man-slaughter if those charges are ever proven.
